Here are the key dates for the Nov. 3 general election from the Alameda County Registrar of Voters:
Now open: 10-day vote centers, which opened Saturday, Oct. 24.
Tuesday, Oct. 27, 5 p.m.: last day to request a replacement vote-by-mail ballot.
Saturday, Oct. 31: 4-day vote centers open and stay open through Election Day.
Tuesday, Nov. 3: Election Day.
Nov. 16 and 18: random selection of batches for the 1% manual tally, followed by the tally itself.
The Registrar's office is at 1225 Fallon St., Room G-1, in Oakland. Any vote center in the county can register you, replace your ballot or give you an accessible voting machine. Use the county's vote center map to find the closest one.
